Christmas/Las Vegas 2006Christmas Morning    This should be on a billboard for a toothpaste ad.  Calvin opening his first present.  It's the blue Choo-choo train set!   Bob the Builder doll holding a real flashlight!    Starting to get messy!  Daddy opening one of his presents.  It's some kind of a tool, of course.  ...and next thing you know Calvin is playing with it. With two "men" in the house and a third one on the way, there's going to be a shortage of tools to go around!  Saving the best for last - Calvin got a brand new bike!  Daddy putting the bike together and Calvin tries to help.  A few more adjustments...  Not able to help much, Calvin goes back to the tripod.  Daddy's presents.  Yay!  Personalized calendar for Daddy to help with remembering all these dates. Las Vegas  It sure saves on airfare. Red Rock Canyon    Short hike with Daddy. A bit treacherous for a little guy.  Let's have a rest on the big rock instead.         More Vegas  Animated display on the floor that responds to movements. Calvin loved it.  Lion display in MGM Grand. It was pretty dull and a bit sad.  Strip at night looking out from MGM Grand.  For a three year old, making faces at the camera is good for a laugh.   Star Trek at Hilton  Testing out the food generator.  Live long and prosper.  Borg Queen with a growth in her tummy (maybe she's the REAL Queen behind the Queen).  The Atomic Testing Museum  Calvin playing with the monitor that showed all sorts of interesting facts and movies.  A piece of World Trade Center after 9/11.  A piece of the Berlin Wall.  Calvin having a moment with his monkey.   Calvin caught a stomach bug the day before we left Vegas, but he was in good spirit none the less.   That's my boy!   Playing with the animation display some more before heading over to the airport.  Everywhere Calvin steps a cluster of lights appeared. |
